The House is a state-of-the-art performing arts space which opened in October 2014. Built to the very highest technical and sustainable specifications, The House features a flexible auditorium, seating an audience of up to 216 people, and an adjacent 10m2 training studio.

Built primarily as a training facility, furthering the University's commitment to investing in world class research and creating outstanding student opportunities, this stunning building enhances the University's growing reputation for artistic innovation and excellence.

The House also hosts a diverse programme of contemporary performances from both national and international artists which is open to the public as well as being available for corporate hire.

An award-winning building situated in the heart of Plymouth city centre, The House incorporates state-of-the-art facilities which make it the perfect setting for a wide range of corporate events, business meetings and social functions.

The House complex offers a theatre auditorium, a flexible studio and three versatile spaces in the adjacent Roland Levinsky building.

The House auditorium seats 200 and offers several reception areas for individuals and companies seeking creative and inspiring locations to host their events. The Studio is a smaller, flexible space also in the main House building with a capacity of 50. The RLB rooms are highly adaptable and suitable for workshops, training sessions or meetings. Full technical facilities are available in all spaces as required.
