Who is it for?

The project will work with the SME community to develop a culture of innovation across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

ATI seeks to take the concept of Cornwall Innovation out to the wider business community and will be delivering effective innovation practice across nine different locations including Bude, Launceston, Liskeard, Looe, Bodmin, Newquay, St Austell, St Marys (Isles of Scilly) and Penzance.

What does it offer to businesses?

  • Acceleration Through Innovation is a three year, £3,000,000 project in partnership with Cornwall Innovation that delivers smart and beneficial ideas whilst providing intensive support to businesses that are ready to innovate.

  • ATI offers niche innovation expertise led by recognised specialists and certified innovation professionals.

  • Opportunities to meet business professionals of interest will be available at the Innovation Clubs which will run alongside the Innovation Acceleration Days and the unique two day Master Classes.

How does it work?

  • Initially the SME community will be able to attend masterclasses and pop-up innovation centres whilst linking with other networks at the Innovation Club events held across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

  • The pop-up innovation centres will be running for one to three months at a time across the county and will allow businesses to create links and valuable networks from the available meeting room space, super–fast broadband connection and at hand workshops.

  • Identified businesses with innovation potential can benefit from advisory sessions and prototyping technology to allow growth to the next level of progression within their business path.
